In conjunction with the bizarre, freaking hot weather this few days, i present to you this>>>




A drama name 'A Family Conflict' presented during our lecture hour as part of our English for Communication assignments.

This story involves the conflicts between family members over family properties. It starts of with the only son in the family, Gaydrew drinking in the bar alone. Suddenly he was attacked, dragged out from the bar and got beaten up badly by loan sharks. Due to the fact that his boyfriend, Tony is a gambler and an alcoholic, he owed a huge amount of money and Gaydrew paid his dept by borrowing money from loan sharks. Gaydrew was threatened that he doesn't pay the dept he owed; his entire family will be slaughtered. He had no choice but to comply with the demands and head back.

Back at home, the father, Mr. Chua is working on company's most recent project in his home office. Engrossed in his work, Gaydrew rushed in suddenly begging his father for help. Mr. Gay was stunned, disbelieved about the amount of money Gaydrew owed and his relationship with Tony. Both of them started fighting over the financial issue. In the mist of battle the second wife, Big Mama came in and interrupted the fight. The fight heats up again when Big Mama helped Gaydrew to get the money. After the fight, both Big Mama and Gaydrew left the room. In the next day, the first wife of Mr. Chua, Pamela discovered the dead corpse of Mr. Gay, lying on the ground, with his medication all over the ground.

3 days after Mr. Gay's funeral, the family members decided that is time to settle Mr. Gay's properties. The family members started to discuss about dividing of the properties among each other. However an argument happened as each member is not satisfied among each other. Pamela pointed out that she deserves most of the property as she helped in developing the company into the most successful company in Malaysia. But was objected by Big Mama as she claims that deserve more as Pamela is infertile and does not have any child. The argument later revealed that Uncle Chun is not blood related to Mr. Chua. He claimed that he should be the heir of the property left behind by his father but was taken from him by Mr. Gay. With the support of his mother, he fights for this property.

Suddenly a lawyer came, the entire family was surprised that Mr. Chua had made his will on paper. After the lawyer read out the documents, they were shocked and disbelieved that 90 percent of the property are donated to charity organization. They now realized that family unity is the most important. They finally unite together as a family and work together for further improvements in the company, also to pay off Gaydrew’s depts.

'Surprisingly' i'm the one who acts as the 'woman' again for the second time i guese. I just don't know why i have to be choosen. But we have a great act eventhough our drama is not the best compare to other's group. Great job dudes!!

Besides hectic, still hectic

Finally, I'm back from the streamyx disaster for about 2-3 weeks. It's pretty annoying when i have lots of assignments and presentations pending and the streamyx disaster came in blocking all the progress. Luckily i manage to finish it with my group member's help.

The assignments period are pretty costly where we usually discuss and finish it up in fancy coffee shop like Starbucks and Coffeebean. The waiters look at us like one kind because all of us just bought one coffee. So to avoid being watch like one kind, each of us have to buy a coffee each and it's over our budget for that few weeks. We even have to cut down our lunch period just to finish up the assignments.

Eventhough evrything had done and we can catch some breath before facing the finals two weeks later, but here comes another problem regarding the house we are going to rent for the next four years. We are still working on it and i really hope we can finalise the deal ASAP. Buddha bless me!!

How Embarrassing

1. Wardrobe malfunctions Zips left undone; tucking skirt into underwear.

5. Looking foolish Making an inappropriate joke.

6. Nigel no-friends Having someone turn their back on you, even worse, no one talking to you at a party.

7. Embarrassment by proxy Your partner acting stupidly in public; the drunken behavior of friends.

8. Dating disasters Awkward silences on a first date; spilling food or drink on a partner.

9. Caught out Making an excuses for not going somewhere, then being caught in the lie; being overheard by the person you're gossiping about.

10. Clumsy catastrophes Slipping over when attempting to get up after tripping; dropping food on your chest while eating.
